Family Connection and Communities In Schools of Glascock County (FCCIS-GC, Inc.) is a private non-profit 501-c-3 charitable organization located in Gibson, Georgia. Our broad-based collaborative organization conducts community assessments, provides the platform for community-wide planning, coordinates program implementation, and builds the partnerships required to respond to the identified needs of Glascock County’s children and families. Since its inception in 1999, FCCIS-GC has become instrumental in resource development activities in support of county wide efforts, in coordinating projects, in innovative structuring of needed programs and other capacity building activities.

A seven-member board of directors governs the collaborative. The directors consist of 60% from private sector and 40% from the public sector. The executive board meets once a month to oversee operations. The entire collaborative (consisting of approximately 55-60 agencies, parents, and youth) meets once per quarter. The collaborative is structured to work through active and engaged committees.
